CUDDALORE OR KOODALOOR (THE MEETING POINT OF RIVERS)

• CUDDALORE from ancient times is  the old town  which has always been seaport.
•  Scholars believe the name Cuddalore is derived from Koodalur, meaning confluence in Tamil.
