                 >Pongal is mainly celebrated to convey the appreciation to sun god.  


Diwali: 
   
                   


                         >Diwali is the festival of lights.

                         >It is celebrated all over India.
                         >It is the festival celebrated by everyone.

Onam: 





>Onam is the festival celebrated to welcome king Mahabali.
                        >Onam is celebrated in the beginingof the month of Chingam accordin to Malayalam calender. 
>The carnival of Onam lasts from four to ten days.
>Onam is the festival celebrated in kerala.
>They put flower rangolis for ten days in their homes.
